In this new release, Framework continues its commitment towards providing a collaborative platform which promotes transparency and addresses the increasingly sophisticated requirements of investors.
As the private equity industry continues to manoeuvre through evolving market conditions, the renewed industry focus on oversight and controls has also driven the need for tools which enable compliance with new and forthcoming industry regulations.
As well as heralding the start of a new naming convention with annual major releases, Framework 2009 is the first step of an ambitious and innovative roadmap for the product. • Business process functionality enhanced with full workflow capabilities to facilitate deal flow management and fundraising
• Administration and accounting of complex investment structures (Special Purpose Vehicles) supported with straight-through processing and visual representation in Microsoft Visio format
• General ledger reporting capabilities extended to support alternate chart of accounts including multiple GAAPs and IFRS reporting
• Continual focus on improving the user experience with global search capabilities and enhanced use of drag and drop functionality and hyperlinks
